Key design points
- Analog dual overdrive pedal combining two complementary gain channels in a single enclosure
- Channel 1 inspired by the Klon approach, focused on clean boost / low gain, designed as a flexible tonal foundation
- Channel 2 based on a Bluesbreaker-style overdrive, offering a more organic, progressive, and compressed response
Channel 1 – Clean boost / low gain (Klon-inspired)
- Three-position clipping switch allowing different real-world use cases
- Up position: germanium diodes for soft clipping and an authentic feel
- Center position: no diodes, for clean boost use with maximum headroom
- Center position: no diodes, for clean boost use with maximum headroom
- Channel designed to thicken the signal, reinforce the midrange, and improve mix presence, especially for solos
Channel 2 – Bluesbreaker-style overdrive (KoT-style behavior)
- Three-position mode switch affecting gain structure and clipping behavior
- Up position (OD): soft overdrive using NOS Panasonic MA859 diodes for smooth grain and natural compression
- Center position (Boost): more open operation with minimal clipping
- Down position (Dist): firmer distortion using NOS Toshiba 1S1588 diodes for harder clipping and a denser character
- Single Gain control covering the full usable gain range of the channel, from low gain to higher gain depending on the selected mode
